Role Purpose

We require a Senior Legal Associate to join our team and closely collaborate with internal teams, departments, and the Head of Legal. Senior Legal Associate role will be exposed to various files of the legal industry such as commercial, employment, IT, marketing and intellectual property.


Core Responsibilities

  • Be involved in all aspects of commercial agreements;
  • Assist with corporate matters and affairs such as structure changes;
  • Manage legal documents, drafting /vetting of contracts/agreements as
    directed;
  • Assist with drafting and maintaining internal policies and procedures;
  • Prepare and improve internal template agreements to streamline the process
    for concluding contracts within efficient timeframes;
  • Collaborate with tech, marketing, sales and various business teams at all stages of product development to assess compliance and to identify any potential legal risk;
  • Provide assistance to the compliance department on compliance and regulatory matters as may be necessary;
  • Undertake legal research work as necessary and assist other department on legal matters as may be required from time to time;
  • Undertake legal research in relation to regulatory frameworks of different jurisdictions such as financial services, blockchain, gaming as may be required from time to time;
  • Liaise with external advisors in various jurisdictions;
  • Keeping up to date with changes in legislation and regulations related to
    the role.

Required Skills

  • 4-5 years post-graduation working experience in commercial law / financial services/consumer protection law.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize between them
  • Ability to work comfortably in an intense, fast-paced international environment.

Education

  • Qualified lawyer in Malta or other European countries.

The Tech HR Business Partner will be the main point of contact and support for the Tech Teams in Malta. As the Tech HRBP, you will be an advocate for the teams, compiling feedback and information to make data-driven decisions and provide solid advice for the Management Team. You are a person who is confident in guiding and influencing with an innate ability to balance business objectives with employee interests.

        Objectives of this role

        • Responsible for providing a pro-active partner service to ensure that the people agenda supports business objectives.
        • Deliver strategically aligned support to the team in the development and delivery of people strategies to support the Organisation's business goals.
        • Partner, support and advise Management on all employee-related matters.
        • Ensure a consistent approach in the application of policy and legislation.
        • Stay current with legislation and update policies accordingly.
        • Partner with the HR Team to ensure alignment on policies and employment-related matters.
        • Establish yourself as a personable and approachable support for all members of the tech team, advocating for improvements and a positive culture.

        Responsibilities include:

        • Provide an HR Business Partnering service to Management in your area of responsibility.
        • Ensure that all Managers have the necessary tools and capability to professionally manage themselves and their people.
        • Provide strategic and operational partnership and support to address the people challenges for the business area.
        • Build Management capability on people management and decision-making by utilizing the Business Partner Agenda.
        • Advise on HR, legal and employee relations matters to ensure consistency, legal compliance, and minimise third-party risk via effective case management.
        • Work with Management and employee representatives where required to implement improvements to working arrangements.
        • Lead and support HR and business transformation projects.
        • Collaborate with the wider HR Team to deliver the HRBP agenda and ensure HR initiatives are deployed in the business.
        • Use key people analytics to inform decisions and make recommendations to senior stakeholders.
        • Use data and metrics to identify potential issues and support decision-making that positively impacts employee engagement.
        • Propose and implement initiatives that improve the employee experience.

        The Technology Business Partner will demonstrate the following:

        Essential Criteria

        • Minimum three years previous experience in a Business Partner or Senior Generalist role.
        • Minimum two years experience in a similar environment or industry.
        • Minimum Degree level in HR or related discipline.
        • Excellent written and verbal communication in the English language.
        • Demonstrable knowledge of local employment legislation and case law.
        • A proactive personality that seeks ways to improve support to stakeholders
        • Strong time-management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
        • Proficiency with office applications and online platforms.
        • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.

        Desirable Criteria

        • Experience in multi-jurisdiction employment legislation a distinct advantage.
        • Experience in business reorganization and transformation projects an advantage.
        • Experience in driving employee engagement initiatives an advantage.

        Red Acre Ltd. have an exciting opportunity for an Office and Events Manager to join our team. We are a global company based in Dublin, Limassol, and Tallinn, with headquarters in Malta.

        We are looking for an Office and Events Manager to keep us thriving. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, flexibility and adaptability. The Office and Events Manager will provide strong, reliable support for operations by creating procedures and communicating them companywide. The successful candidate will work with multiple stakeholders at all levels across the business and be able to manage priorities. They will plan dynamic and engaging events to strengthen our organization’s unique culture. This role is a full-time position located in our state of the art offices in Malta.

        Objectives of this role

        • Ensure all employees are working in a vibrant, functional, supportive and safe environment.
        • Oversee visitors to the office and ensure a friendly, personal experience.
        • Ensure peak operations for the organization and implement preventive measures for potential issues.
        • Coordinate internal and external resources, and cultivate relationships with vendors.
        • Respond to requests and questions about office operations.
        • Raise awareness of new products, drives, or initiatives through events.
        • Synthesise organizational messaging and identity.
        • Encourage event participation across all sectors of the organization.

        Responsibilities:

        • Ensure office efficiency by maintaining common areas, organizing procedures, handling correspondence, managing file systems, and overseeing supplies and equipment.
        • Oversee day-to-day office activities as the main point of contact in the reception area, and keep management informed regularly.
        • Take necessary precautions to maintain a safe and secure environment for all employees and guests.
        • Provide direct administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events; booking travel and taxis; maintaining file systems; mailing and shipping packages; and updating contacts database and employee lists.
        • Oversee and maintain office equipment, supplies merchandise and cleaning services. Identify needs and acquire supplies, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate food deliveries when requested.
        • Manage all aspects of space/infrastructure planning (moves, additions, changes to workstations) and provide resources, and solutions.

        Desirable Criteria

        • Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent in Administration or Management or similar discipline an advantage.
        • Previous Reception, PA or Events experience and advantage.
        • Project Management or Events Planning experience an advantage.
        • Experience in developing internal systems.
